avoiding to pay refunds

I purchased ticket to travel for work to Kristiansand, Norway. The airline cancelled both trips due to Covid 19, but is currently refusing to refund tickets, which they are legally required to do, due to EU customer regulations. The responsibility to refund customers lies with the airline, not with the travel agent as wrongly advised. I am trying to resolve but would avoid any dealings or bookings at Wideroe at all costs. Deplorable, dishonest, fraudulent.
