I too am an Ecohouse investor and victim and strongly agree with what other investors have posted regarding the SRA- I have been appalled at how SRA have handled this case with complete disregard and contempt being shown to the victims and deliberately ignoring all evidence that has been presented to them and proving beyond doubt, the guilt of the solicitors involved and the massive fraud that has been committed.
How can they ignore a fraud of over £30 million!!! And how can they fail to admit and punish the dishonesty committed by their members ???
The SRA are supposed to be a body that protects the public, yet they have tried every trick in the book to ensure we aren’t paid any compensation for which their compensation fund was established for that very reason - it stinks - they aren’t fit for purpose , they have just looked after their own .. yet they have committed fraud ? The SRA is a disgrace and needed a complete overhaul - they don’t help the public who have been cheated by their members , they side with and protect them. People have lost their life savings and they just don’t care.
Despicable behaviour and they should be ashamed and disbanded
