Great vehicles and service.

Rented from this particular site several times over last few years. Twice in two weeks recently. Service and vehicles been brilliant ever time. Would and do recommend to friends and family

We have used this company on a number of occasions now and have always had excellent service. The staff are friendly and helpful and the price is reasonable too! Will be using again for sure!

Great service in Southampton .I booked a car for holiday to travel across Uk. Great standard, no hide fees. Quick check in and out. I would recommend U-drive and will use it again .

We’ve used Udrive a couple of times now and they are always really helpful! We turned up quite late one Friday afternoon after a work van broke down and the team got us sorted with a hire van, we were very grateful for the excellent customer service and will definitely use them again.

It was a super easy process from hiring a suitable van online to return the van at the end. The process was straight forward and during the and after the booking the customer care was super efficient. The options for fleet were very good during booking. The rented van was of good quality and value for rental cost I paid. Piking up the van and returning the same were both easy and quick. I will certainly recommend this rental company for van hire. I am a happy customer.

A very smooth experience from initial booking through to returning the vehicle at the end of the hire. I needed a 9 seater vehicle on 23/07/24. Initially my local branch had a problem locating an appropriate vehicle but the person I was de@ling with managed to move things around in order to accommodate me. The vehicle I picked up was on a 22 plate and was in good condition.

Found UDrive very professional polite and helpful staff, explained everything clearly so had a stress free experience all round .

Van got cancelled the day before for a circumstance out of U-Drive’s control. They gave me a replacement and compensated me with an extra day for the inconvenience. So I cannot complain at all. Very nice guys down at Southampton U-Drive, would highly recommend!

All the staff were very helpful and explained everything to me.

Very efficient and friendly. Van very clean. They even found and returned a tiny key we accidentally left in the back.

I used a very well put together website with clear instructions and lots of choice.
On arrival on a Sunday I was met by a very competent team in james and kayleigh who made the experience a breeze. Returning the van was as easy and relaxed as collection. See you guys again.

It's the cheapest and best value for money in my opinion

I spent £1000 on a hire. I advise you don't use the Southampton branch. Having made the following complaint, I am still waiting for someone in the operations team to call me. When I call in, the call center tell customer service don't speak to people?!!!

I returned the Volvo XC90 at the time expected and before the Southampton branch closed on Thursday 27/06. I parked the car in a convenient position, leaving enough room to walk clearly around the vehicle to carry out a vehicle inspection to look for potential damage. The first thing that happened was as I opened my door and an untidy man with a nose ring approached the vehicle. I was just in the middle of making sure we had removed all our belongings from the vehicle, when the man didn’t even greet us nicely, he just asked me in a very aggressive way if I could move the vehicle forward to the middle of the car park. As the car was parked correctly I decided this was not necessary nor was it my job to move the vehicle again and I gave him the keys and said that I thought it was parked okay and if he wanted he could move it then he could. I felt he was just being lazy and couldn’t be bothered to move it himself. I did explain to him that I’d just driven for 8 hours and as the customer maybe he should move it. He did not look happy. I was amazed at his bad attitude and this was not what I was expecting. I used to be a regional manager for Northgate Van Hire many years ago and I know that this is not the way to talk to customers.

The next thing that happened was, we discovered that we had accidentally left the parcel shelf and cargo net at home because I had removed it to make more space. I explained this to the same man and again his bad attitude was disgusting. He started demanding that we bring it back ASAP the same or next day and that he wouldn’t release the deposit until I did. This was an accident on our part and let’s be honest, accidents do happen.

I do not have an issue with the branch having our £100 deposit so we said they can keep that until we get the parcel shelf and cargo net back to them. The man really was not happy and wouldn’t listen to my explanation of what happened, he kept raising his voice and talking over me. He clearly was not interested in listening to what I have to say. Once again his attitude was extremely aggressive and arrogant and really not needed.

I want to discuss how I've been treated and what they're going to do about it.

JUST TO CONFIRM IT WAS THE STAFF MEMBER AT THE BRANCH THAT WAS EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS ME AND I FELT VERBALLY ABUSED. THEY HAVE CONTACTED ME BY PHONE, WHICH IS WHAT I ASKED FOR. THIS COMPANY HAVE SHOWN NO INTEREST IN UNDERSTANDING THEIR CUSTOMER POINT OF VIEW AND ARE CLEARLY NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING IN ANY WAY.

All very professional and simple.
In and out pretty quick both in pick up and drop off.
Friendly helpful staff.
Vehicle all in good order and no problems.
