Great service and efficiency
Great service from the Southampton team. Booked a tipper truck online and dropped into the office the day before hire to complete the licence checks and general information. As a result, the pick up was speedy and efficient.
Vehicle was almost brand new, so everything worked perfectly.
Will definitely be using on a regular basis over the coming year.

Great van hire
Helpful, courteous and efficient customer service. One of the only hire companies open on a Sunday which was really helpful as I could not return the van Monday morning due to work. Good price. Thorough check of dents/scuffs etc before driving off. Would definitely use again.

They were out of the selected vehicle class, so they called me in advance to ensure I agreed to the upgrade. No issues with the van, pickup and drop off very smooth.

Great service
This is the second time I've used U drive in Southampton, and would definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and polite, the van was ready to go, and it didn't take very long to get on the road. The van was perfect for the job I had to do, and when I returned it there was minimal fuss to get it checked over and my deposit was returned in less than 24 hours.

Vehicle hire for a house removal
Vehicle hired for a house removal that had to be cancelled twice due to conveyancing solicitors incompetence. The people at U drive were excellent at moving my booking on twice and the vehicle was ready, before time, on the actual day. Vehicle fully fueled so easy to know how much had been used. Good clean vehicle with comprehensive check both out and back in. The tail lift was a god send in getting the heavier items in and instruction given as to its use. Would highly recommend U drive on value for money and for the modern fleet they have.

Poor bodywork
We spent a considerable sum on the hire of a 9 seater van for our holiday, so we expected a nice vehicle for the money spent. However, the vehicle we picked up and lots of scratches, one of the wheel arches was missing and replaced with a white cover piece (the van was grey!), some of the upholstery was damaged and in a poor state of repair. This was the 4th vehicle that we had hired from u drive and will be going elsewhere in future.
