Amazing experience – huge praise to Isak and Sofie!
Had a great day at Tivoli, and a special thanks goes to Isak and Sofie working at the rides. My child was scared to try one of them, but they were so kind, patient, and encouraging that she ended up giving it a go and loved it! They really took their time and made the experience feel safe and fun. Also a big thank you to Orhan, who was very friendly and professional. The staff truly made the difference this time – we’ll definitely be coming back!

It’s time to give the incompetent employees at the service center a course in customer service and, frankly, just their jobs in general. It’s Saturday with few to no customers in the service center. We go in to exchange two Godream gift cards for Tivoli tickets. Then we wait for two of our friends to buy their tickets online.
When we were ready, we first asked a young male employee if we could enter through the entrance in the center. He replied, “I can’t help you, only served customers can be helped.” Fair enough. We then approached a female employee and asked if we could go through the entrance, to which she replied, “I don’t know anything about that, you need to find the person who helped you,” despite the fact that she was standing right next to us when we were being helped. She neither bothered to help nor look at the tickets we had, which clearly showed the date, time, and the employee who assisted us.
The employee who helped us was on a break, but we managed to contact her, and she let us in.
It is simply unacceptable that we had to use so much energy to get help or prove that we had just been served at the service center in order to be let in. That experience ruined the mood for the entire Tivoli trip.

Dear Tivoli Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent visit to your park, which occurred on 31st august. I have always looked forward to enjoying my time at Tivoli, but unfortunately, my experience this time was far from pleasant due to multiple issues I encountered.
Firstly, I purchased popcorn from one of the stalls, only to find it unbearably salty—so much so that it was nearly inedible. When I approached the staff to request a fresh batch, I was told that it would be just as salty. I then asked if they could offer me something else, as it was impossible to eat the popcorn, but the response I received was that they couldn’t help me because no one else had complained about it before. This response was not only dismissive but also very frustrating.
Additionally, I had trouble with the coin machine in the arcade, which failed to return my coins. To make matters worse, it was incredibly difficult to get assistance from customer service or any employee on-site. I spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve the issue, which dampened my overall experience at the park.
As a frequent visitor, I expect a higher standard of customer service from Tivoli. Unfortunately, it seems that when it comes to customer service in Denmark, the experience often feels like the bare minimum, and this visit to Tivoli was no exception.
I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving the customer experience at your park. I look forward to your response and hope that my next visit to Tivoli will be more enjoyable.

My husband and I visited Tivoli with great anticipation, having made reservations for the Diana Ross concert. However, our experience prior to the event was deeply disappointing and frankly disturbing.
We arrived an hour and a half early, only to be met with an unexpectedly long queue. The first check-in point was efficient, but the second checkpoint became a distressing ordeal. Upon presenting my Tivoli card via the app, the attendant suddenly informed me that my card was "not valid" due to my profile picture featuring two people instead of just one person. This was particularly perplexing as I have used this card numerous times throughout the year without any issues.
When my husband mentioned that we hold a “Gold Card,” which permits entry for the owner plus four others (and it was only the two of us), she again refused us entry, insisting we go to the office to resolve this "photo issue." Despite my name being clearly visible on the app, she made no effort to verify my identity by asking for an ID, and seemed indifferent to the inconvenience of making us stand in another queue.
Even more concerning, she continued to speak predominantly in Danish, despite my clear difficulty understanding, which only added to the sense of disregard for effective and respectful communication with customers.
In frustration and disappointment, I sarcastically thanked her for her "help," and her response spoke volumes.
As we walked towards the office, we were appalled to hear the attendant shout, “I can block it,” followed by her colleague yelling, “Was it another cheater?” These comments were not only unprofessional but also threatening, as they implied that we were attempting to deceive or break the rules. It was a blatant abuse of power, and the hostility with which we were treated left us shaken.
What should have been a delightful evening was completely ruined by this encounter. I am not just disappointed—I am truly and utterly alarmed by the behaviour of your staff. The way in which we were treated was unacceptable, and it raises serious concerns about the type of people you employ.
Tivoli, I sincerely hope you take immediate action to address these serious issues, as no customer should ever have to endure such treatment.

My Danish family, who has a gold card, have visited Tivoli on Sunday 22.Oct.2023
We attempted to buy 2 Turpas on the machine besides the main entrance, payment was performed with Mastercard but suddenly there was an issue with the equipment and no Turpas nor receipt were emitted.
We were advised to purchase it again in the main entrance office by Tivoli’s personnel.
I complained that I already paid but was told I had to buy again 2 Turpas at the main entrance office cashier. And this time we got the 2 Turpas without a problem. The attendant said I would get refunded if the first transaction went through - which has status reserved in my back account statement right away - and that she couldn’t do anything because it was a Sunday.
Of course, I got charged 2 times (!!!) and still don’t get a refund 2 weeks after the event - called customer support and exchanged many mails with Tivoli without getting the 518kr refunded or a voucher for the 2 TURPAS paid hut not received.
I am quite disappointed and did not expect that lack of customer service response.
I have provided bank statement proof and credit card number, and there is now a silent from customer service… really frustrating.

Closed to the public due to company event.
Having checked general opening days I had considered we would be turned away. I had very disappointed kids.

Stop with your loud fireworks! Stop scaring little babies and animals! During all your summer season it is a nightmare for all of us living in the city centre and having small children and animals.
Before it was only Saturday, now it is almost every day. We pretend to be respected!

Our visit 2023-07-25 to Tivoli was more or less a catastrophe because of too much people in the park.
It was difficult to walk because of all people and baby carriers.
All attractions had long lines with up to 45 minutes waiting time.
We arrived at 11:00 and left 17:00 but did only 5 rides in that time! 🙁
We will never visit Tivoli in July again

They have nice decoration. The annual card is expensive. There is not a lot to do there to have fun. Most of the workers are not nice . The toilets are smelly all the time and not cleaned.
We have been insulted today (27/4) by a security guy as my mother is handicap . They have zero respect to handicap people. Impolite worker , he didnot even care when I mentioned that I will file a complain for what he did today to us.
I will not renew my yearly card as their workers are aggressive and it is waisting of of money.

Most horrible experience I have had in years, extremely rude and obvious staff, way way way overpriced for what Is on offer, dirty and unkempt, even the gardens are not as nice as they used to be.
But worst of all is the Tivoli staff, I was man handled by 2 Tivoli guards, on old lady with name tag Mette and a really horrible one called Tomas, they made all the children cry and really seemed to enjoy it, I have reported Mette to the police.
I have been coming here since I was a child, but I will never ever return, it feels like I was actually robbed, as they were extremely happy to take our money, Tivoli have zero customer service, don’t come here.
I had a terrible experience with my family in Tivoli, extortionate prices and horrible service, we got treated like criminals by the staff after having a private conversation about a staff member behaving badly toward our child. They pushed my sister violently when she tried to explain our frustration, and they threw me and my whole family of 9 out of the park. They refused to take our official complaint, and we had to contact the police to make a complaint of verbal, racist and violent abuse against us. Never again.
Pay loads - get mean and arrogant staff and almost no rides.
Tivoli is :
1. About dishonoring, insulting and being rude and arrogant to paying customers.
2. About making money.
Tivoli IS NOT:
About having a good time
About rides
About childrennhaving fun
95% of your time will be spent in crowded queues. The rest trying to get pass crowds in the tiny paths around the park.
They let in so many ppl that the visitors have no chance at all to use their extensive ride passes. This is not kid friendly and my kids are still complaining about all the waiting time in the queues (as compared to all other amusement parks in Denmark and Sweden).
The staff were rude, mean, offensive and arrogant. Did not meet a single service minded staff. Not really sure what one pays for, since every single person in the staff is either bored, irritated or cranky. They are non polite, arrogant and take every chance to insult and belittle the paying customers.
Food/beverages : you pay astronomic figures for crappy food. We wanted red hot dogs. They were sold out. Rides were closed. Wending machines were broken.
Each ride had it's own set of rules, impossible ton know before queuing for 2 hours in the line since the lines for each ride were so long. Impossible to even know what you stood in line for. Imagine the face og your kid when 119.8 cm is not enough for a ride accompanied by a playing adult, while they have this accompnay thing rules on most other rides. And all other amusement parks in Denmark ket kids of that height ride thise rides together with and adult.
Impossible for a new comer to know all sets of rules for each ride.
All in all a total disgrace. I will forever remember this visit with irritation, sadness and anger. Such a horrible, horrible place with such rude and incompetent staff. The whole business idea is to make money. Nothing else.
This was the worst experience I have had in many years. Please avoid if you can!
AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Extremely expensive for crap quality. Rudest, most impolite and arrogant staff on the face of the earth. 1-2 hour queues for rides that might have been cool 110 years ago. No one checks that you are buckled up as they do in other amusement parks. But they do take their chance to rant and be arrogant and impolite about unimportant stuff. The place is a total mess and chaos. Queues all over the place. No chance to know what you stand in line for. No info about special rules for each ride, but each ride has it's special set of rules. On some you can bring luggage and horses and elephants. On some not even wear glasses. You never know until you have queues for 90 minutes and meet the incompetent, rude, arrogant, and impolite staff. Other service facilities teach their staff that the customer is the most important thing they have. On Tivoli they probably teach the staff to be as rude and impolite and unflexible and mean as possible towards the customers.
I so wish I hadn't spent a single penny here, but too late.
AVOID THIS HORRIBLE PLACE IF YOU CAN.
WORSE AMUSEMENT PARK IN HISTORY. MOST IMPOLITE STAFF EVER.
I will remember the experience as one of my worst holiday experiences ever.
Worse experience ever. Among all amusement parks I have visited in my life, this is BY FAR THE ABSOLUT WORSE.
Bought entrance and turpass plus online. 1 h queue to get in. The queue to the automats to print the turpass. Then 1-2 hours queue to each ride. Then found out the automatiskt had printer an unvalid ticket. New queue to get a new turpass and it took the information office 30 minutes to understand the issue. 4 hours in to the visit and still waiting for the first ride.
Extremely arrogant personel. Absolutelety no service mindness. Rude and bitchy personel full of hatred. I have never ever visited any facility with so many incompetent, hateful and arrogant people working there. DO NOT COME HERE! A TOTAL WASRE OF MONEY. 2 hours queue for awful ride and bitchy personel playing gestapo. My kids are literally crying.
