It's for free to park 4 h. But I end up paying 299+100+100 dkk.
Supposedly free if you play ice hockey Svendborggade.
I did apparently not register correctly. There is no machine to pay or register nothing in the parking garage they want you to not understand the rules and make it difficult for you. That's how they get money. No information. So you make the mistake and they can cash in.

Even if i had document to show it was supposed to be free. Doesn't matter the difficult process is what they want and how they get the money what is right and wrong is totally indifferent to them.

I don't like companies that even you show them you are right and was allowed to park for free they don't care and you still have to pay and pay extra also.

They wanted to give extra days to pay like that was the problem..... Probably just to make sure they get more for me forgetting and late fines and so on.....no understanding even though it was supposed to be free.

Important communication and complain about an unfair fine which the gardian officer placed on my car today at Hospit in Hillerod.
I left my car just about 13munite to help my wife took our inside the hospital for an appointment. I did not spent up to 15munites because the appointment was cancilled and before i could returned back the office placed fine in my car. I believed i was my phone and the car key inside which he should have understood that he owner just hurriedly left the car and will be back immediately, and he placed fine on my car, Meanwhile, i approached him when i rushed back but i insisted that i should set the time before i left.
I am appealing to this authority to reconsider this fine. I am also send this appointment time which broough us to the hospital and compare to the hour he placed fine on my car. That's partial and unfair to me. I shall be happy if this should be reconsider.

WARNING for ParkZone

No stars at all for the parkzone since that company is a big scam company. We parked the car and payed for 15 hours parking, since that was able to do from the Radisson Hotel Copenhagen when enter the casino. Got a receipt via mail. But when the bill came after 6 month, I forgot that we had a receipt via mail. I contacted the Parkzone to explain I sent in the receipt and also evidence that I have paid the parking they refuse to answer. I have called them and they say that it needs to be taken care of via mail and they will push them but no answer at all. It has now been 4 month and no answer. So a BIG SCAM company is this and the only thing I can do now is to do a police report on this.

Very unforgiving company: ticketed for an honest mistake in EasyPark app, despite proper proof and documentations

Got a parking ticket even though I paid for the full price of parking. The only mistake was that I had mistakenly put the parking in EasyPark on my personal vehicle instead of on my rental car that I had just picked up. My personal vehicle was apparently the default car license plate on my EasyPark app without me realizing it.

I sent ParkZone proof of my ownership of my personal vehicle, while also providing proof for renting the car that got ticketed during my travels in Denmark. All documentations were consistent and I was happy to provide any additional proof. I also screenshotted the fully paid parking in the EasyPark app.

I think they were extremely unforgiving with their ruling, and they explained that there was nothing else I could do in my situation. I have so much proof that I can provide to show how this was a truly an honest mistake that anybody can make, but they simply closed the case. Do they automatically expect all of their customers to be really good with technology?

I think this was a disgracefully sour experience that could have been handled in a much better way. I'm disappointed in ParkZone.

In case there are other agents interested in my situation, check out the Lobenr: 1926553 and the associated exchanges via sagsbehandling(at)parkzone.dk

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. ParkZone hides important terms and conditions that you don’t have proper access to until the moment you’re forced to accept them during payment. Only later do you realize how restrictive and one-sided these terms are — especially when trying to cancel a subscription. Their cancellation policy feels like a trap, and you’re left feeling deceived. If you value transparency and fairness, stay far away. Using their service is the fastest way to learn the true meaning of “deception.”

misleading signs, terrible communication skills and skill to understand

misleading signs, signs placed inconveniently, penalties with expensive parking fines for not being able to find and read the rules. when you first found them it was too late and the rules were only in the local language. parking fine as soon as you have been standing for 3 minutes. not nice parking attendants. who are difficult to communicate with.
And no will to try to understand the situation when confronting him. Just claiming that you have easily seen the signs and understood the rules, but chose the break them.
the requirement for a parking disc is not written at the entrance. double signposted with both blue parking signs and black parking signs. (One of which is easily overlooked) inside the establishment there was a blue sign with a P to remind you to use the P-Disc (in the local language)
But the usage of a Blue sign is misleading here, and also easily overlooked since you’ve already read all the rules on the blue P sign at the entrance where there was no mention of other rules than “max 2h”. The paper with a reminder was not visible because it was behind glass on a sunny day. And not visible from the parking area.

The blue sign which was the one that was placed most visible stated «P, max 2h» which is misleading:
Blue P sign with no sign under means free Public parking.
With the «Max 2h» and no other mention of other rules makes one to believe that it’s free to park in this public parking so long as you don’t park more than 2 hours

But there is also a Black P sign (which is in the blind-zone of the driver when driving into the parking area, and therefore unreadable.)
And the black sign means it’s Private Parking, and it stated on a sign under that you can read the rules other places in the parking area.

The black sign is easily overlooked when entering because of the other blue sign.

Håbløst / Hopeless ...

Dansk anmeldelse:

English review:

I parked with them and thought everything was fine until I was told there had been an issue with the parking app and that my payment hadn’t gone through. Instead of contacting me or giving me a chance to fix it, they charged a 200 DKK “administration fee” just to inform me. Since I had been away for a few days, they also added a 100 DKK late fee.

My parking originally cost 12 DKK – and I had actually tried to pay using the app. I wrote them a long, honest message explaining the situation and offered to pay the 12 DKK, but asked them to waive the 300 DKK in extra fees. The response I got was basically: “We don’t care. You have 10 days to pay 312 DKK or we’ll send more reminders and hand it over to collections.”

Completely unreasonable and unsympathetic. You get punished for trying to do the right thing.

Ripping of foreigners by abusing the law for profit

Abuse of the law. The law states that a handicapped vehicle may not park more than 3 hours. But Parkzone added their own law that you must put your timedisc in your window. Their sign is intentionally not in English. Moreover, there are no universal symbols like in other countries: their sign has no timedisc symbol or a P symbol with a number for the hour limit, there's only a wheelchair symbol. So foreigners do not understand the written text and interpret it as a warning for a valid handicap card, which would be logical. But Parkzone also uses an "observation period" to measure the time you're there. Plus they have camera pictures with timestamps of any given time that your car is there. They do not provide customer service to help you understand their parking rules written in Danish. The attendant just pounces on your car as soon as the coast is clear, instead of being customer-friendly and helping a foreigner. Three minutes of observed parking in an almost empty parkinglot is payable in 1750 DK, simply because of their own rule of the timedisc that they want you to plaster on your front window, or else they are entitled to rip you off and claim "it is the law." The law says nothing of that timedisc, only about the allotted time you can park there with a valid handicap card. If they really cared about that timedisc, they would have a clear universal symbol stating that the disc is mandatory against a big fine. But they dont. And that is because you will fall in their money pit. Ironically, their parking fine is in English; godforbid you dont understand you have to pay in 10 days, or else! Funny how they can write things in proper English when it comes to their own gain at the expense of foreigners. They besmirch Denmark as a country. The country sucks because of hostile scammers like Parkzone (Q Park). Who needs it.

Absolutely terrible and inhumane customer service

We recently had an extremely disappointing and unfair experience with ParkZone. While we were on vacation outside of Denmark, my brother used our car and unknowingly parked it slightly outside the marked lines (literally a few centimeters). Instead of issuing a single fine and notifying us, they chose to pile on four separate fines, one per day (total 3.500DKK), without any opportunity for us to correct the mistake.

Despite our honest explanation and multiple appeals, they showed absolutely zero flexibility, empathy, or understanding of the situation. Their rigid and robotic handling of the case was beyond unacceptable. Had we been given any kind of warning after the first fine, we would have fixed the issue immediately - but they clearly prioritize maximizing profits over fairness.

To make matters worse, we pointed out that bicycles constantly take up several car parking spaces in the parking garage without receiving fines, and they completely ignored this point. It’s clear that their enforcement is selective and inconsistent. Our car barely took away another parking space, while around 30 bikes can take away 4 parking spaces without any issues. The parking spaces in this garage are already extremely tight due to concrete structures, making it nearly impossible for two cars to park next to each other. Yet, instead of addressing this poor design, they choose to hand out fines unfairly. And of course, the parking garage is almost empty at all times and was almost empty when they issued 4 fines to us.

This company is not here to regulate parking fairly - it’s a money-making machine that exploits people instead of offering reasonable solutions. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid parking in their facilities, as they seem more interested in issuing excessive fines than treating customers with any basic decency. Absolutely unacceptable!

Predatory parking enforcement

Park Zone's business practices are unethical and exploitative. Today, I received yet another fine because my car slightly overlapped a white parking line, despite the tires being within bounds and causing no obstruction at the end of the street.

Their enforcement is overzealous and unreasonable. Mysteriously, they manage to issue tickets within 1-3 minutes of parking time expiration, suggesting questionable tracking methods.

Park Zone's entire business model seems designed to maximize fines rather than manage parking fairly. They prioritize technicalities over common sense, penalizing drivers for minor, harmless infractions.

This approach is not only frustrating for customers but reflects poorly on Park Zone's integrity. I strongly advise caution when dealing with this company and urge them to reconsider their punitive tactics.

Shame to make money out of foreign/diversity…

A shame to make money out of foreign people that don't understand danish!
I was in business trip 10days ago in Sonderborg. I was in our Office in Graasten meeting with colleagues. After work I went in the city center and park in Parkzone plads 35. I arrive at the same time as anotehr customer. The sign was only in danish and said " something in danish ... max 30min.... something in danish 00:00 to 24:00". The other person, parked and left the car directly. I came back 5min later because I was too worried I needed to do something and coudn't find information around in english or a place to pay. I was SHOCKED when I saw the guy printing me a fine of 910dkk for 4min parking! He realized his mistake because the lady parked next to me testimony I was here only few minutes and couldn't figure out the system. It's a real SCAM! This sign was not understandable to broader customers. The reason was even more fake and scammy. I had a rental car ( so not mine, I actually don't own a car). I didn't know I had then a park disk. This one was set up on reset mode at 00.00 or 12.00, whatever you prefer. So they claimed that I stay 6h parked which is ABSOLUTELY untrue! The agent saw me, but he said he had to apply the procedure. This is pure scam and making money out of people that can't speak danish. I am horrified at this situation. Being in business trip and having to deal with this is really non sense. I have a witness and colleagues that can attest I was clearly not in the city center at 12.. obviously.. I ma working! The agent told me to contact the claim service to explain this as he said only danish signs cannot be understood and it's a regular problem.Obviously, being a foreigner and not coming back any soon, my claim was almost put to trash... They didn't try to understand that this sign is 1. not understandable and should be translated 2. I stayed only 5min max which do NOT legitimate a fine of 910dkk. Even no fine t all, I didn't over pass the 30min limit. I never had fine of my life, it's a pure SCAM. I actually parked my car at the same provider (different location, near Alsik hotel ) 3 evening in a row, explanation were in English and there was a box to pay by card. I paid 135dkk for each night so I am not someone trying to get away paying 30min parking! It's scandalous.
Rating and recommendation grade is 0.
I hope that we will find a settlement to this issue because it's outrageous how this company make money out of diversity and intended bad communication.
I am still shocked to this day!

Official scammers

I had a car accident just in front of Hillerød Polytechnic School.
As I could not drive the car home, police asked me to park the car on this location parking lot.
After arranging the tow truck to pick up the car, we realised that the access to the parking was closed for the night, and thus had to rearrange the pick up for the morning after (between 8 and 9 am).
Surprisingly, a few days after, we received a ticket from Park Zone.
We tried to contact them, by phone and by email, with no success. They would obviously not reply or call back.
Sad to see communes hire such dishonest and incompetent companies...

No interest in solving their own miscommunication

I wrongly parked in a garage with my other car 2023-05-10 on the spot I had rented but forgot to register the car's plate number. Next day I had three(!) bills. The issue was quickly solved by the landlord, owning the parking and ParkZone was told to cancel the issue. They didn't do so. Instead, they forwarded the bill to their sister company (pretending they are completely separate companies) ParkiaPay, who kept sending me bills. Both companies are very difficult to reach, and I had to spend hours to clear out the issue. I finally received an email from Parkzone 2023-08-16, telling the issue was clear and I shouldn't pay anything. But then in October, I got a reminder to pay from ParkiaPay. So the entire circus started all over! Although these companies are connected, they don't communicate internally and/or simply don't care!
