Fabulous Company, I would recommend to anyone.

I have been using Momentum for many years now, and the reason for this is because once I give them a job I know I can relax in the knowledge they will do it.

Great service, professional, courteous, lovely vehicles, great drivers and very competitive prices.

Two special mentions, Roger Sanchez in bookings is a real gent to deal with, and Imran the driver is absolutely the bees knees.

Book with confidence, top company.

Very professional customer service…

Very professional customer service team. Incredibly helpful and straight onto any problems. The driver was prompt and professional and required no input on our complicated journey. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because the minibus had beer cans on the floor and wasn’t very clean, which was the only issue. Otherwise, a top service.

A slight hiccup to start as the coach was late due to another driver taking the coach intended for our trip on a school run which involved our driver chasing after it. We were delayed leaving by approx. 30mins however this was compensated for by the return journey being agreed to leave a little later. This is the second time that I have used Momentum coach hire and overall have been satisfied with the standard of coach and performance.

Coach did not turn up and awful communications

I used Momentum to help support a big reunion taking us from Gloucester to Worcester. Everything went smoothly up until the day we were expecting the coach. The coach did not turn up and no one answered the emergency help phone line to support us; in fact no one picked up any of the phones on the day.

To make matters worse the company then claimed that they had spoken to me on that day but conveniently have no record of the conversation. I was stranded with 25 people all expecting to get the coach to a rugby match. We eventually had to call taxis to replace the bus and ended up missing the first half of the rugby match and then had to get more taxis home after.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company in the UK. I would not trust them at all and would recommend potential coach bookers to use alternative companies as well.

Had a great experience with Momentum…

Had a great experience with Momentum and Edyta Karnas. Edyta was very quick to reply to any and all questions leading up to, and throughout, our five day program. With 20+ airport transfers, a group transfer between Oxford and London, and many changes in between, I was very pleased and relieved that all went very smoothly. I would recommend Momentum for future needs. Thank you!

JUST INITIATED CONSUMER ACTIONS AGAINST THIS COMPANY- AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

This is a fraudulent company- I hired them for my wedding at exactly 12.30pm for a Saturday. They “showed” up at 12.15 whilst the ceremony was still going on and called my phone twice- which of course I didn’t pick as I was at the wedding. I saw the missed call at 1pm after sending people to look out for them at around 12.40 when we thought they didn’t show up. No call was returned so I called the company directly, only for them to tell me that the driver had left. I then asked them for a refund, of which they took 3 weeks to investigate and concluded I was owed only 50% of the refund without showing any evidence that they showed up. I am currently disputing their claims with my card holder luckily (always use a credit card for online transactions). And I will go further. I will ensure that I report them to various consumer ombudsman, and check with my lawyer on the possibility of a small courts claim win. I will also publish this all over the internet giving evidence of the transaction as businesses can’t be allowed to swindle consumers with impunity. Further, I strongly suspect that some reviews here were doctored by them. I’ll be reporting that to the relevant authorities. The 6 hotels that got a fine last week would teach these lots a lesson. Watch this space all.

Booked a 49 seater coach in February to…

Booked a 49 seater coach in February to take staff to a conference 4 hours away. The bus was late with no contact from the driver, the trip leader had to phone to find out what was happening. The driver finally appeared and drove past our car park and stopped at the top of the hill our office is based on. Ten minutes later, after a staff member had walked up to ask he come to the car park as originally booked, the bus finally appeared where it was supposed to be.
On arriving at the destination, which was at the top of a hill, the driver stopped and refused to drive up, leaving staff and their luggage at the bottom of the hill in the pouring rain. Another staff member who had driven up in their own car had to ferry everyone up the hill.
When booking the coach, we were told that as the drop off location was 4 hours away and the return journey was 2 days later, we would have to pay for them to book accomodation for the driver. We paid this fee in good faith. Having abandoned our staff in the rain at the bottom of a hill, the driver stated he had no intention of staying overnight anywhere, and was going home. He said he would return two days later as planned, but he would be bringing a smaller bus with him. Two days later, a different driver appeared with a smaller bus to take our staff home.

We called Momentum on 25 February to raise concerns about the whole experience, and the bored-sounding customer service rep didn't ask any questions, but said she would send us a complaints form by email, giving the impression this is a common occurence.
The complaints form was filled out with a request to refund the money paid for accomodation, and a partial refund on the return journey as we had paid for a 49 seater but the original driver appears to have ensured we had something much smaller for the journey back. We got an automatic reply apologising for any problems and promising a reply within 28 days.
Having heard nothing, I emailed again on 26 March and 12 April but have had no response to any of my emails. Looking at other reviews here, it seems ignoring emails is common at Momentum!

I cannot possibly recommend anyone use Momentum Coach Hire after this experience. When booking the coach, they were fantastic. As soon as they had our money they stopped caring and apparently have no interest in providing the service that was paid for.

The worst experince

The worst experince - don't book a coach through Momentum. The worst service, bad communiation from management down. They never return emails or phone calls making the experience stressful until the final moment. You never deal with the same person which doesnt give you confidence - avoid this company unless you want a stressful experience. My advice never use an agency like Momentum always deal direct with an actual bus company. I have seen your reply below - The booking is under the name Steven Gower.

Highly Recommended/excellent customer service

I was unsure about this company as a review here was not good. I discussed this with the company and felt reassured. It was a fairly complicated arrangement, ferrying evening guests from central London to a hard to find location and back. Everything worked brilliantly and happened exactly as planned. Thank you. I would certainly recommend.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. The coach didn’t turn up and we reported it by email immediately as there was no out of hours support given and then after admitting that they were in the wrong and promised a refund no refund has been given yet and 6 months has now passed. Absolutely heartbreaking as this was on our wedding day and the guests were stuck in a remote location and had to wait on taxis for a very long time. So so disappointed that it is still an ongoing issue.

Overall good experience

Overall good experience. The booking agent was very helpful and the driver was great on the day, can't fault them there.

Only issues was ordered I ordered a 24 seater bus and a 57 seater coach turned up - wasnt a problem overall but was a tight squeeze down narrow london streets and with dropping clients off. Was also given the wrong driver contact details by the HQ so couldn't contact them initially.

Momentum driver abandoned 42 people including 25 children (11 children under 11 years old) in Holland. Without notice the driver disappeared and went back to England. Momentum wanted approx £3K to send another coach to collect us. Kids we crying and traumatised by the situation and Parents have had to pay up to £600 each to get their children home safely to England.

We are always very grateful for feedback from our customers be it positive or more constructive. You may be unaware that from the early stages of your trip and throughout the weekend we were in contact with the lead passenger with regards to the behaviour of some of the passengers in your group. Unfortunately, we were in a position where we had to explain very clearly that damage to the vehicle and any form of abuse towards the driver would not be tolerated and that the group was at risk of breaking our rules of carriage. Regrettably our advice on what behaviours would be considered as acceptable in order for our driver to remain with the group was not followed. This was communicated to the lead passenger at the time of the driver’s departure – all of our drivers are advised to remove themselves from any situation where their, or another’s, personal safety is being put at risk.

In most cases, but especially those as serious as this, we will communicate directly with the named, lead passenger and the relevant authorities to ensure we can find a resolution.

DO NOT TRUST MOMENTUM they are likely to let you down and keep your money

Save yourself the nightmare and DO NOT DEAL with MOMENTUM.

Coach cancelled on day of school trip to Germany - apparently unable to source a coach.

Momentum had no intention of delivering this service as they had been evasive once the trip was paid for in full.

No refund to date (10 months), no apology, no information or dialogue.

A financial scam.

Following my honest review, I have today been contacted by Momentum Customer Services. I don't hold up much hope as our school insurance company didn't get anywhere when chasing uninsured loss on our behalf but remain open minded. It will be interesting to see what happens - watch this space as I will update accordingly.
On a positive note, at least our students were not abandoned abroad with Momentum demanding further payment to get them home !
