All staff were pleasant and polite
All staff were pleasant and polite. Stock was tidy. Good to have toilets. Took a while to find Regatta jackets as they were not specifically signposted. It would be helpful to have some seating available.

Went in today to get my daughter a sleeping bag. Amazing service and knowledgeable advice from Paul F on which one to get, very friendly.

Easy to find what I wanted & browse as always. Generally a nice easy visit. My visit was towards the end of the day however and I felt the staff were following me around a little... not intrusively, but "watched"...

Paul F saved the day
Went in to look at tents and associated items. Unfortunately they had just taken the tents down as it’s the end of summer. Luckily, Paul F was around and answered all our questions. Lots of knowledge about all types of camping gear. Worth going in store rather than online.

Lucas was very helpfull
We were looking for a first pair of walking boots for my partner and were struggling to find a pair that fit comfortable. Lucas was extremely helpful and gave us loads of great advice on brands and budget for first time boots, he must have gotten us 10 pairs of boots to try on and was extremely patient and professional with us. Exemplary staff member gives great advice
Whilst looking over the sleeping bags we were given very helpful advice and recommendations by Paul F. His knowledge and experience shone through and without this we would have probably gone home with a less appropriate bag. Great shopping experience.

Good experience today.....
Visited Southampton branch today and got into a conversation with Paul concerning a difference in price of nearly £100.00 between the store and on-line price of a jacket. Paul spent a lot of time checking out the discrepancy and eventually discovered the difference was in a very slight difference in specification between the two apparently identical items. The advice he offered meant that we came home and ordered on line, saving ourselves just shy of
£100.00. Loss of sale to the store, but his product knowledge, attitude and comments meant we came away very satisfied with the outcome and integrity that was on offer.
