Carol was incredibly helpful patient and very knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble after trying on many pairs of walking boots she found me the perfect pair . Also got a fabulous welly bag. Thank you will be back

So many quality choices of boots / trainers etc… if it wasn’t for Carol’s help I’d still be there !With her knowledge she found me a lovely pair that was just right for what I needed .10/10 👍

Tommy served us today to help us buy a good pair of walking boots specifically for foot pain. He was really polite, knowledgeable and helpful and helped to make sure we got the right ones.

I think that it’s great that they are bringing new items into the store, but it was quite hard to find a couple of things because it was in a different section to where it was represented. I also think it is a shame that the store had to abandon the horse riding products, it was a good display and I got most of my horse riding equipment from there. Other than that it was a good experience I don’t get to see experience often!

Fabulous service yesterday in the footwear department - very sorry I didn't get the young male's name but he was super-helpful and knowledgeable about design specs. He listened to me, noted my preference for Merrells, and nothing was too much trouble for him! He happily brought several sizes and types for me to try and patiently gave me time to decide on which suited me best. The quality of his advice was borne out by the fit and feel of his suggestion as opposed to my first choice. My initial intention when entering the store had been to browse, rather than make an immediate purchase but he turned that around and I'm excited to get out and put my new boots through their paces! Compliments must also go to Sue at the payment desk, who was helpful and friendly and proved that there is a consistently excellent attitude towards customer service in the Scunthorpe store!

I visited the store today to purchase a pair of walking boots and trainers, within minutes offered help, but initially kindly declined to browse. I have previously had an extremely disappointing customer service experience three years ago where boots were concerned and was very anxious in my selection. I was assisted by Tanisha and she couldn’t be more supportive, or helpful! I have an issue with my ankle, so have to be very careful and selective when buying footwear, but again, nothing was too much trouble and she was a mine of information. The gentleman who took payment again was lovely, so in my opinion customer service here is now second to none!

All the staff were very helpful, Paul helped guide me to find better fitting walking shoes & boots.

I just wanted to give a big shoutout to Jane who helped me in the store today. She was incredibly friendly, chatty, and genuinely helpful — nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare these days to come across someone who clearly enjoys their job and makes customers feel so welcome. She turned what could’ve been a quick errand into such a pleasant experience. Go Outdoors are lucky to have her!

got some great technical, friendly advice from a very knowledgeable fella (Tommy) over in the shoe department. He was patient with no dramas getting me a lot of boots to try on.
Also received a very nice experience at the check out

My assistant, Kurt, provided excellent help throughout my visit to the shop and I came away with 2 good pairs of walking boots that have proved to be very comfortable.
