Discrimination towards people with disability
Entered car park as an error thinking it Cornwall council for which I have a disabled exemption. Took 10 mins to park then 9 mins with mobility to get to pay zone to realise then 8 mins to get back to van 3 mins to leave . £60 appeal rejected trying to show within equality act reasonable adjustments for mobility issues. Nasty phone services women telling me I didn't " have a leg to stand on " with an appeal. Nice ! I'm writing to radio 4 ask their opinion. An old guy with a spinal injury error disability cost £100 the price of going slow aye!

I appealed a parking ticket and they took over a month to reply to me they rejected it and I had to pay the full fine they are not helpful and will be sharing on social media

Absolutely disgusting company. Lodged an appeal, never received a response and then was sent a threatening letter. Called to explain I never received the outcome of my appeal and the woman I spoke to was so awful and rude.

Daylight robbers...paid for ticket...no over stay...accidentally put wrong registration in and have been hounded for over a year...texts, phone calls, baliff letters, court papers...have spent a lot of time on this...court date upcoming. It surprises me a company treats customers so poorly! Owners of car parks run by this company are the real problem! Ditch Armtrac...they employ unfair bullying tactics!!!
Disgraceful and ignorant
I have tried contacting this organisation for three weeks regarding paying a parking ticket. I wasn’t trying to dispute it, I just had some personal circumstances that would require further discussion and a longer payment window. They’ve ignored every single email. They’ve refused to give me a complaint email address and said I must write to them like it’s the early 90’s. I’ve refused as there is no way to track this letter other than via Royal Mail. Absolutely disgraceful. If I don’t hear back within next few days I will be taking it further.

I park at Porth Beach car park most mornings and pay for a ticket, so over the course of a year I spend quite a lot.I bought a ticket one evening, mine was the only car in the car park, and overstayed by 30 minutes. I was issued with a PCN and appealed with a genuine reason but it was rejected and I simply cba to pursue it further, instead I now park elsewhere for free. Their loss.

I was issued a PCN at an address I have visited numerous times over the last several months in the course of my job as a carer, never had a problem until today. I get back to my car after the 30minute visit to find the PCN on my car. I was unaware that they had been employed at the address and there was the tiniest sign possible that you wouldn't see unless it was pointed out to you. Furthermore there was nowhere indicating any kind of payment machine. I have submitted an appeal by email, and have been attempting to speak to them for over half an hour but it rings for 3minutes then says all busy and leave a message. They could clearly see my PPE, so they would know I'm there working. I also doubt the lady I was seeing knows about them

Dishonest company
Went to the Scilly Isles on 29 March. Went into the car park to turn around and find where we had paid to park and to offload our baggage. Were told by one of the airport staff that all was ok as there was an hour’s grace. Must have been 10 minutes at best. On our return on 5 April we did the picked up our baggage and checked our tyres and left. Came home to a notice suggesting we’d been there all week. This was a rare holiday whilst a family member has been in respite care. We are not going to be able to prove we were parked for such a short time as the evidence is with the company. Who takes a photo of their car entering and leaving a car park? I have read their letter and the reviews on here, I doubt we would get far if we complained so they have £60 but I feel thoroughly scammed.

Another vote for worst parking company in the country. Will try every trick to try and con you out of money based on tenuously issued PCN's even when you had every right to park there.

Received a parking ticket for none display of permit. Paid the £60.
Got a legal letter saying I hadn’t paid and this turns out to be for another ticket issued 2 days prior.
I had nothing on my windshield for this fine and I believe it was removed by the traffic warden.
I think this is sharp practice by Armtrac.

Accidentally used the wrong vehicle registration when parking at Porth beach car park but after giving evidence that I owned both vehicles registered on my Just Park app, that wasn’t good enough. Got a long email from them saying they would accept a £20 payment instead of £100 if paid within 14 days. How lovely of them! Criminals! Why are companies like this allowed to get away with this! 😡🤬

I was on holiday in Cornwall payed for parking 4£ and still received penalty. I ignored it and now received a court claim. I spoke with BWlegal and I said I have a proof bank statement were you can see location, address, date of payment and they said it’s not a proof! Then what? Ok. I’ll try to defend my self from those scammers!

Been charged a fine on 11/12/2024 I have refused to pay £100 as I only received the letter after 15days , if paid within 14dyas will be £60. I was charged £40.00 more. They issued another letter after my email ,then they replied saying I have to pau the 100£
Went now to the online and phoned them through the number on the letter can't get through them ,either can't pay online ,I have emailed them now to say I'm not able to make the payment

I Was on holiday in Cornwall and went to Iusty glaze jet skiing for my birthday. payed for the parking i belive i may of been a few minutes late coming out the car park i then get a letter about 6 month later demarnding I pay 160 pound i found later the first letter they'd sent went to my old address i called the company to see what could be done was meet with hostility from the word go. Thay are trying to say I didn't purchase a valid ticket i then sent them a photo of the parking ticket i brought on the day lucky I still had it.after sending it the hostility got worse and it changed to it was a over stay i then told them thay had tryed to fine me for the wrong reason and I would not be paying thay have now took out a ccj on me trying to ruin my financial situation for the next 6 years over 160 pound even tho I payed for the parking and sent them evidence i payed just a company of bullies.

Returned from Scilly to Lands End Airport where this company manage the car park. I ended up paying some of the car park fee ( not sure how that happened) and the fine. I was told that this was my fault When I called them, a confusing situation as I simply scanned my card and assumed the machine took whatever money it wanted I didn't even look until afterwards. A week later a letter demanding a fine followed which I paid, I'm still unsure what happened or where fault lies, but would have been happy to pay the parking fee but the person on the phone said that I must pay the full fine of £60 so they took £80 from me.
The processes remain unexplained.
Buy a ticket immediately on arrival or leave the car park
Please be aware that even though the car parks are pay & display, they photograph your car immediately on entry and if you dont/cant get a ticket quickly you will be fined!!...waiting for a space, faulty machines etc will not sway these people as they only give you 10 mins "grace" to get a ticket. I believe they operate everywhere in Cornwall so be aware!
Should be illegal!
The only company that I have come across that sets a timer from you entrance to exit into the area where the car park is sited. My wife and I parked quite a way from the meter and couldn’t get the app to work for a while and now realise all this time the clock was ticking. This type of timing should be made illegal and has stopped me from going to the restaurant from now on as I refuse to use a car park run by this company.
