Signed up for a free trial of >>> use /AI
Signed up for a free trial of an AI use, and after an hour of trying to read a GPX generated file for cycle navigation, not openable by Garmin or Komoot, I had to give up. AND lo and behold charged 24hrs later for a month’s subscription which was auto-renewable. All attempts to cancel proved circuitous and felt scammed. This debit withdrawal was almost instantaneous, so much for a 7 day trial ! >>>>>>
My reply from them …… “ Thanks for reaching out.
I'm happy to clarify the situation with your payments!
Looking at your Use.ai account, it shows that on 23 October 2025, you registered with your email on use ai, agreed to our Terms and Conditions, and started the 7-day trial with a setup fee of 0.99 GBP.
Once the trial finished, it automatically converted to a 28-day subscription of 24.99 GBP.”
I let you as the readers be the judge of this nefarious act.
Can't unregister from this site
Can't unregister from this site. Immediately asks for payment. Looks very fishy.
Fraud and scam!
Firstly, they claim that they offer access to ChatGPT 4, which they don't. They claim that they are "powered by ChatGPT" which they aren't. Even ChatGPT will confirm this.
Secondly, when you choose a payment plan, they say that a quarterly fee (for three months) is USD 44. However, they charge USD 107 for three months, instead of USD 44.
When you try to cancel the payment subscription via their confirmation email, it's not cancelled. You must go to your PayPal or bank (depending on your payment method) and cancel the automatic renewal there.
There's no contact form, or any support. When you ask their chatbot to send you the link for support or request submission, it gives you a link to a totally different AI seller (OpenAI.com - which is legitimate).
Scam! Be warned!
