Vi vil være med til at passe på fiskene og på havet. Det manglede da bare! Mange fiskearter er desværre udrydningstruet eller opdrættet under rigtige dårlige forhold. Det er et alvorligt problem. Vi arbejder hver eneste dag på at gøre en forskel. Vi bruger udelukkende bæredygtig certificeret fisk i vores produktion. God samvittighed smager bare bedre. SushiMania bruger bæredygtig emballage Hos SushiMania har vi taget et valg i forhold til de bakker, du køber sushi i. Vi bruger sushi-bakker, der er fremstillet af genanvendt materiale … materialer der kan genanvendes igen til fremstilling af ny fødevareemballage. Sushi-emballagen er fremstillet af indsamlede og genanvendte flasker og bakker. Der tilsættes ikke ekstra farve i emballagen, og derfor afspejler farven på hver bakke den specifikke blanding af det genanvendte materiale, den er lavet af. SushiMania og TooGoodToGo SushiMania er med i TooGoodToGo, fordi vi synes, det er det rigtige at gøre. Madspild er et stort problem – også for miljøet. Derfor samarbejder SushiMania med TooGoodToGo om at reducere madspild. TooGoodToGo arbejder for en verden madspild. I was meet by a stressed worker

I was meet by a stressed worker, but still he very friendly, had a good costeme service og smiley. I had a gift card and im not very teknik, so
I just went to the shop, I was told the was more than one hour s wating time, but he made it is 30-40 min.. the food was very good,

I originally wrote a negative comment and I would like to add something. Yes, the original experience was not good, but I contacted Sushimania and they offered to give me a new portion. They were friendly and accepted responsibility. When it was picked up, they said that if it should occur another time, return the food immediately. When you serve the food to one´s guests, one cannot run out and return it, also because the shop is closed by then. But I appreciate their response of giving us a new box. Thank you.

Creating a lot of waste

The quality is good but I am really dissapointed in the business model itself. I ordered 2x packs of sushi from « too good to go » and went to pick them up. In each box I had 20 sushis. I was the only one that purchased them and the last customer for the day. Before getting my goods, I saw that they had 50+ sushi pieces left and I asked if they can just fill my boxes instead of throwing everything else in the bin. In response, I got the answer that the box is sold only with 20 pieces and that the rest will be thrown away in the trash. So, isntead of filling up my box with a few more pieces, they preferred to CREATE WASTE and throw everything in the bin.. this is just double standard.. being registeredand supporting the « too good to go » concept, vut at the same time, if all sushi pieces are not sold, then they will throw them away, instead of saving some by giving them to the last customer.

Sushimania in Hjørring

Visiting sushimania in Hjørring was an absolutely incredible experience!! The staff were super service minded and the waiter was so helpful when we asked for recommendations on the menu. Not suprisingly; the food was e x c e l l e n t, perhaps the best fish we ever had! (and we eat a lot of fish coming from Norway) We especially loved that we could mix the many different rolls to our own taste! YUMMY!!

Exactly the kind of atmosphere you would expect in a professional, well known and highly spoken of sushi restaurant! Thank you for an unforgettable sushi experience! I already recommended you to all my friends and family and hope more people would be so lucky to engage in the same culinary experience!

Unfriendly and unprofessional service.

This review applies to sushimania UK, branch in Cambridge!!!
Unfriendly and unprofessional service.
We went to the branch in Cambridge for lunch to celebrate annual return of our son from Denmark.
The first thing we where told when ordering a buffet for 3 people that there would be a 10% service charge. We were than handed a without further explanation a tick list for the food. Which returned after a while and telling us that we could only order in steps. - But we had already waited for quite a while before being told.
A waiter then spilled the ordered Miso soup over my Barbour jacket and my Hugo Boss cashmere scarf - damage around 400.00 GBP. There where not really apologies and offers how to compensate for the damage. After some heated arguments with the restaurant manager we left the restaurant. I was unable to wear the soup drenched jacket and scarf an had to walk in freezing temperatures just dressed with a shirt to the train station and traveling home with my wife and son. Originally we had planned to spend the day and evening in Cambridge.
Not the kind of atmosphere you would expect from a professional Japanese restaurant! Is it actually a Japanese restaurant or is it just a marketing gimmick to cash in on Japanese styled food without being authentic?

Sometimes Good - sometimes bad

I've tried Sushimania four times and the experience varies radically. Two visits gave us much satisfaction with super fresh, tasty and well made sushi. The other two tries gave us sushi that tasted and looked like the food had been stocked sushi from much earlier production same day or the day before.

Heavenly

It definetly let me without words and with a wonderful opinion and absolutely unique taste. The hands of the chefs are like doing magic when they are preparing the sushi . I love it and highly recomand it . Thank you for one of the most amazing sushi experience of my life soo far :)
