They have camera vidio everywhere almost in WC and check you 5 in 5 minutes and the sistem is very bad look like in jail and the food is wht you hv for freee is expire ans people are getting sick every day and than you get sick from food and take all of crazy things from there and if you call sick they say u are out . Very bad place to work .Het is een heel strenge werkplek en er hangen bijna op de toiletten camera's, je wordt gecontroleerd. Elke 5 minuten word je gedwongen om als een slaaf te werken tot je neus bloedt, het eten dat daar gratis is, is over de datum en ruikt vies. Als je daarvan eet, word je de volgende dag misselijk en als je niet komt werken, word je ontslagen. Er zijn daar heel vreemde mensen en het lijkt een heel slechte werkplek te zijn en ze dwingen je om elk weekend te werken. De mensen daar zijn ziek en het systeem van de plek is ziek. 🤮🤢 alot of people losing their job there just bcz they eat expirate food and they take bacteria . They dont care .next day u are out this happning with me and with more of my collevas they are not cheching the food and is happening to me allready 2 times with the food after this they fired me . Picnic is a sick place go there if u wanna get sick .

Used to be a great concept but has gotten terrible over the years and the customer service is even more terrible. They will put stuff on display but most of it will not be available when they deliver, the result? Finding out at 8PM that you have no dinner, not just once but almost each time you order. If you got the stuff on discount they will also not give you the difference back or give you the option to put it again in your cart which means that when they make a mistake you will pay for it especially if you’ve already ordered the stuff around the meal. Customer service gives 0 fs bc they know ppl will continue to buy anyways. Super snarky and definitely avoiding from now on (as someone who only used to buy groceries here).

They are coming late or not calling the door bell, just call the phone number. So when youre phone was on silent mode and you have been at home whole day, you are not getting you groceries and also your money back. You can go on the other side of the city to deliver it yourself. Customer service unfriendly and unhelpful, sending happy faces telling you, that you are not getting your money back.

Driver arrived earlier without notice, with the app showing the wrong time. Now company refuses to reschedule delivery and instead I have to move 1 and a half hours away to get my groceries.

In complete order Frozen foods missing,
I was advised by driver two bags were missing from my order, be he didnt know the contents. I checked and tried to contact Picnic, i sent a text via their app at 12:30 did not get A response until 15:30. Chat line no answer. Finally managed to get someone on tel, who promised to investigate and call me back, i am still waiting for that call.
My last 3 orders have had issues, either missing or damaged items, the costs were refunded, however I then had to goto a supermarket to purchase the missing items, which defeats the whole object.

I've already had 30+ deliveries. Always fresh, almost always on time. Good prices and wide variety. A couple of times some products were missed or damaged. However, right after I reported the issues in the app, I was fully compensated. So far so good!

Avoid Picnic — completely unprofessional and disrespectful experience
I had one of the worst interview experiences of my life at Picnic. If this is how they treat people before even hiring them, I can’t imagine how bad it is to actually work there.
From the moment I arrived, the woman conducting the interview was cold, rude, and completely lacking basic respect. She sarcastically told me to grab a coffee — only for me to find out there was no water. When I mentioned it, she got annoyed instead of simply fixing the issue.
The “interview” itself was even worse. I barely sat down before she said one sentence:
“The decision is already made. We won’t take you because you rescheduled your interview too many times.”
So why did you waste my time and invite me in the first place?
This wasn’t a professional experience — it was a complete joke. No explanation, no basic courtesy, just judgment and attitude. I will be reporting this behavior and posting my experience everywhere job seekers look for honest reviews.
Honestly, it’s better to stay unemployed than work in a place that treats people this way. Picnic should seriously consider who they let represent their company.

PicNic in the Netherlands is a nothing short of a life changer in particular for modern families. From the start in Leiden since 2017/18 we have been a fan!!!! It saves so much time not having to go to the groceries store.
On top of that, the products are high quality (try the fresh oysters…) and value for money. Keep holding this course PicNic! 5 stars!
