This company basically tried to take advantage of how little I know about energy contracts work in the Netherlands, and phoned me eight times in four days after I said I wasn't interested in speaking to them again. They insisted that they were just "offering me a lower price" on behalf of my current energy supplier, but the document they tried to pressure me to sign was a full energy contract.

Once I saw this I was upset and said I wasn't interested. Then I received calls every day until I blocked the number.

Why is this sales model legal?

The sales man promised I would pay a fine (for breaking the contract) of €200, but that at the end I had to pay more then double of that.
I won't recommend this service to my friends. It feels that this company is just interested in selling contracts, not caring for the clients.
Definitely, not a good deal
