I have a 20+ year old gate keypad which dead, the GSM tech guy was extremely helpful, pointing me to the component (diode) that I should change and offered to send me the component.
I swapped the component and it’s all working again. Amazing service

I installed a GSM 1-Button Intercom about 3-4 years ago. The intercom has been perfectly reliable until one of the keypad output relays failed recently. The cause of the failure was due to a slug entering into the intercom unit via a cable grommet which I hadn’t properly located during the installation. I posted the keypad back to GSM Activate whom repaired and refurbished the keypad and posted the repaired unit back to me within 5-days. The cost was just £50.00 including P&P. They also included a new gasket and new microphone in the return package. I think this represents exceptional value for money and exceptional customer service.

Hugely impressed recently when I was able to return my GSM unit for repair after I damaged the Sim card holder. I was sure it was a write off but well done to all at Gsm activate for instructing me how to remove the sub assembly so that I could post it to them at reasonable cost.

If you looking for gate GSM module I would recommend gsm-active .Worth spending bit extra and buying British item than the usual cheap and poorly made items from abroad.Adam and his team provided very good service and answered all my queries without any hesitation.
Will use them again and recommend to my friends.

Looks like good piece of equipment. Main downfall for me is that prices on their website are without VAT WITHOUT any information about it. I just found this once I was about to buy... this stop me. Cheeky way to get clients ?

Connected easily to the outside sounder terninals of my alarm box it does the job exactly as intended, sending a text and ringing three different mobile phones. Great when we are not at home as it alerts me, a neighbour and a relative who lives locally.

Recently purchased a gsm keypad intercom to replace a defunct unit (from different manufacturer) which controls access to our property via electric gates.

Good response to my initial queries (within the hour!), subsequently purchased an intercom and it arrived within 18hrs.
Extremely well engineered unit. Easy to install and working flawlessly (review 2 weeks post install). No need to ask for technical help but very prompt reply to my initial queries leads me to believe this would be good too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend over other manufacturers.

I was interested in the van alarm and the staff at Gsm Activate were great at answering my questions about it. When I purchased it it arrived promptly but then I had some technical issues with it. These were resolved quickly with help and advice along the way. Bob even checked out the compatability of a (non-Gsm Activate) sensor for me. Excellent service. Time will tell if the kit is durable but I'm pretty confident about it. It looks well made and I know the company will support it.

I recently upgraded my GSM gate opener to one that included a GSM intercom (calls my mobile phone) I had issues that the sim did not recognise text instructions from my phone. I tried lots of different phones and found that the fault was intermittent.
Strangely Adam at GSM Activate had no problem texting the gate from his phone. I spoke with Bob in technical who talked me through the settings on my phone. Nothing made any difference. They then sent me a new board which I tested successfully by texting it from my phone before they sent it. All worked well. I installed it in my gate with my sim and annoyingly I had exactly the same issue again but at least it Proved that the unit itself was not at fault. Despite this the company did not give up on me. They sent me a new sim explaining that my own very old sim may have an issue. Sure enough the new sim did the trick. All works fine now. I know this is a long story (which I have shortened !) but I wanted to indicate the professionalism and after purchase service I received from GSM Activate. They never gave up on me, and always took my calls and responded very quickly (even over weekends) to my emails. And I'd actually bought their cheapest
option ! Thank you all it was great service.
